Missouri Attorney General, Andrew Bailey, recently filed suit against Planned Parenthood for alleged trafficking in transporting children out of state for abortions without parental consent [1][2].

Investigation Results

It is against the law in Missouri to aid a minor in obtaining an abortion in another state without such consent.  An investigation revealed that Planned Parenthood regularly circumvented this law.

Staff would remove minors from school by using altered doctors’ notes.  These minors were then transported to neighboring Kansas for abortions, and returned without their parents’ knowledge.

According to the court filing, an undercover sting revealed that Planned Parenthood (a statutorily mandated reporter) would readily have agreed to transport a pregnant 13 y.o. — by definition, the victim of statutory rape — out of state for an abortion without informing law enforcement, despite a legal obligation to do so [3].

Statutory rape laws and mandatory reporting are, of course, in place for the very purpose of protecting minors against sexual exploitation.

Financial Gain

The Missouri lawsuit takes the position that the motivation for Planned Parenthood’s willingness to flout the law was financial gain (not the best interest of these children and teens) and that the state was, as a consequence, deprived of the opportunity to prosecute predators.

Planned Parenthood, it should be noted, disputes the validity of the evidence.

Dismantling the Family

Our society seems bent upon dismantling or at least undermining the family structure.  Responsibility for protecting children has been displaced to such proxies as the courts, government agencies, and school districts.

Much of this has been done with the intention of protecting children’s rights (an evolving concept).  Parental rights are meanwhile being nullified or stripped away altogether.

Admittedly, not every family is ideal.  God, however, established families as the  setting in which to raise children.  The family is as old as human history.

Most parents love their children, and want what is best for them.  Most would make great sacrifices for their children.

The same cannot be said of the multitude of corporations — Planned Parenthood among them — now impacting the lives of children.  Children are instead viewed as income sources.  We need only consider the impact of social media on children to recognize the truth of this.

Immature Judgment

Given that our society sees no harm today in premarital sex and does little to dissuade teens from engaging in it, unplanned pregnancies and “children having children” are bound to be a reality.

Pregnancy may bring with it adult responsibilities.  But pregnancy does not convert a child into an adult overnight.   The judgment of underage children and teens is necessarily immature.  Statutory rape laws were enacted for that very reason.

Not a Fit Guardian

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.  I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…” (Ps. 139: 13-14).

Abortion is not a simple fix, not an easy solution to a problem.  Disposing of a child in the womb is not the same as disposing of a tampon, despite what Planned Parenthood would have us believe.

The corporation deriving principal financial benefit from abortions is not a fit guardian of the rights of children and should not be the final arbiter of whether abortions are performed, most especially not on underage children and teens.

  1. It’s appalling that this sort of thing happens. Lord have mercy upon these child victims.

  2. Looking back over the last half century since Roe v Wade, can anyone seriously argue that the family institution hasn’t been irreparably damaged by the senseless killing of children in the womb?

Now, with this new revelation of trafficking children for the purposes of providing them a means to abort a child, we have proof that the carnage is unfettered by the very laws enacted to protect them.

It may sound trite, but we’re reaping what we have sown. A nation that kills its children for “convenience” has lost its conscience, and dare I say, it’s very soul.

    • There have been 600,000 – 1.6 million lives in the womb taken annually in the US since the 1970s. That is a gaping wound. Yet many argue for a Constitutional amendment in favor of abortion. A significant number argue for abortion at will, some even for infanticide. Pagans sacrificed their children to Molech, in a futile attempt to assure prosperity. I see no difference.

      • I agree Anna, there is no difference. I once had a coworker whose wife became pregnant and all he could say about it was how it wasn’t a good time “financially speaking” and that abortion was the only solution.

I implored him to consider the magnitude of what this meant considering they had a beautiful daughter already, but the abortion happened anyway. It wasn’t long before his wife filed for divorce and he took his own life.

  3. I pray for people working for Planned Parenthood that they will get out of spiritual bondage to a demonic cult before they face judgment. So sad that so many will not.

  4. Du hast wirklich ein großes Herz, das sieht man in so vielen Details. Vielen lieben Dank für diese ausführlichen Recherchen.
    LG M.

    • Ich finde Geschichten wie diese herzzerreißend, Marie. Ich wünschte, ich könnte mehr tun. Vielen Dank für Ihre Ermutigung und Unterstützung. Sie bedeuten mir sehr viel. LG, A.

  5. Thank G-d for vigilant people like you, dear Anna, for bringing these atrocities to the public’s attention.
